Production Artist
To be successful in this position, you'll be detail-oriented, eager, and have a positive, team-oriented attitude. We are looking for someone with a strong design foundation, technical curiosity, and a willingness to learn. We require you to have proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite and a solid understanding of layout and design principles.
Responsibilities
Design Execution & Production
- Assisting in preparing production-ready files for print and digital platforms.
- Retouching, resizing, and adapting assets across a range of deliverables, including social media, print ads, and digital banners.
- Supporting the creative team in versioning and updating existing designs while maintaining consistency with brand standards.
- Creating social media graphics for our clients.
Team Collaboration & Workflow
- Working closely with Creative, Social Media, Project Management, and Client Services teams to bring creative concepts to completion.
- Implementing feedback and revisions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensuring that all files are properly archived, shared, and named per internal processes.
Quality Assurance & Development
- Demonstrating attention to detail and consistency in file preparation and quality control.
- Tracking time daily in Workamajig and managing multiple projects with guidance from senior team members.
- Staying current on industry best practices and design production standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Internship or freelance experience in a design or production role is a plus, but not required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Solid understanding of layout, typography, and basic design principles.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to receive and apply constructive feedback.
