Digital Media Buyer

As the Digital Media Buyer for ON Advertising, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and optimizing digital media campaigns across various platforms. You will collaborate closely with the account management team to ensure alignment with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success in digital media buying, a deep understanding of industry trends, and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital media buying strategies to meet client business goals.
  • Execute, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
  • Have a foundational understanding of programmatic media management.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Create and occasionally present client-facing campaign reporting: pacing reports, campaign build, ad-hoc analysis, and high-touch optimizations to ensure relevant metrics and insights are shown and make recommendations by condensing or strengthening key insights from campaign reports to optimize performance.
  • Monitor campaigns for performance ensuring campaigns are pacing accordingly, managing spend, troubleshooting campaigns, creating insights about performance, making updates accordingly, and flagging potential issues to management.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to improve ROI.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling ad creatives that resonate with target audiences.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure cost-effective placements
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry changes to make recommendations for new approaches and tactics.
  • Manage platform relationships regularly via Basis, Facebook, Google, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Digital Media Buyer, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms, analytics tools, and ad tech solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications in relevant platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook, Blueprint) are a plus.
  • Experience in self-serve management of Basis Technologies platform a plus.
